All members of the UC community are required to complete sexual violence prevention, education and intervention training. The Title IX Office administers a variety of standard and customized training for faculty, staff and students. The objective of these trainings are to help the community understand, prevent and respond to discrimination, harassment and equity in work and academic environments. Training components address campus trends, available resources, and review policy definitions and procedure. 

 

 

STUDENT COMPLIANCE TRAINING

All incoming students (undergraduate, graduate and professional) are required to complete (1) an in person (live virtual) training and (2) the the on-line training module, Campus Clarity’s “Think About It” within the first six weeks of coursework. 

All continuing students are required to take ongoing virtual education and training annually.

Students who do not complete the required training by posted deadlines will have a registration hold placed their account.

FACULTY AND SUPERVISORS

New faculty and supervisors are required to complete AB1825 Sexual Harassment Training for Faculty & Supervisors within the first two months of hire.

Continuing faculty and supervisors are required to complete two (2) hours of sexual harassment prevention training every two years.
